IFC Shorts (90 min) Tues 27th 9:30p, Thur 29th 6p, Saturday 31st 4p

IFC Horror (60 min) Wed 28th 8pm, Thurs 29th 9:30p, Saturday 31st 9:30p

Screenings will be at Off Center Theatre in Crown Center.

You will need to buy a $5 Fringe Button and then $6/$8 for members/non-members.

Kansas International Film Festival

October 1st – 7th.

IFC screening on Wed the 6th.

IFC hosted reception to follow.

WE WILL BE DOING A COMEDY SCREENING.

Films do not have to be made specifically for KIFF. There is no theme. However, if this has screened in an IFC event before, there needs to be significant changes to the film.

I was contacted by an associate with a book publishing company in California that does promotion videos. One of the types of videos they offer are author interviews. They are looking for filmmakers in Kansas (Kansas City) that can conduct, shoot, and edit interviews with their authors.

Matt C – thanks to everyone who volunteered for the Lakeside speedway gig. Even though it got rained out.  We’re doing it again September 18th.  We’ll need volunteers again.

The IFC has applied for a grant from the Arts Council of Metro KC.  We go in for review on Friday afternoon.
