Sandy Woodson – I am getting ready to start work on my 6 part series on sustainability in the region and I’m looking for a few interns to help out as we tape over the course of the summer. This will be the first true documentary that I’m attempting and it involves following 3 different guys as they try to live more sustainable lives. One in a rural setting, one in the ‘burbs and one urban. (I’m attaching a write up which doesn’t include the urban aspect as I am still wrangling that). There will be field trips as well.
I hope to get this series on KCPT BUT this is a PERSONAL project, not a KCPT project.
I am looking for 2 people, possibly 4 to fill in as grips/PA. If and when I get my funding we’ll be running 2 camera crews every other week. Until I get my seed money, I’ll be running the camera and will do 1 day every week (Saturday or Sunday). If I have 2 crews I wanted 2 interns per crew so that the interns could alternate so no one is working more than 1 day a month unless they would like to do more. I can offer food and gas money even if I don’t get funding. That would just come out of my own pocket but more than happy to do it for the help. Of course I need responsible, hard working people.
Any suggestions you have on how to get interns (I am beginning taping in March and hope to tape through Sept – Oct. but will take the help when I can get it!) would be appreciated!
